June O’Hara is my speech therapist.
She is hard, but worth it.
After my stroke at age (88 years old), in 6-8-2021
I had a difficult time trying to read
and spell words and count number
correctly.
I gave up trying. I lost my hope.
I never did that before! It was so hard!
I was depressed and felt worthless until
I met June O’Hara. She got me back hope
again reading and counting numbers.
I am not afraid anymore. I have courage now.
When I start to read and it wrong,
she says, “try again.” and I get it correct.
My brain is tired and I don’t give up!
June is patient.
June gave me tips in numbers and breaking
up the words in different ways. It helps. me.
June lifts my spirit high and
makes me happy.
I am slowly getting better.
June has taught me a lot.
I feel I will need her for a long time.
June is a gift.
Life is good.
